Hessian.AI

Based on cutting-edge research as conducted at Hessian universities, the Hessian Center for AI (Hessian.AI) will make significant contributions to the research and development of novel AI systems with human-like thinking and communication capabilities. Synergies between natural and artificial intelligence are exploited and core areas of computer science such as software engineering, data management or security are rethought in an AI-specific way. The center founded in Darmstadt is intended to connect and create something new.

ellis and CLAIRE

The European Laboratory for Learning and Intelligent Systems (ellis) is a non-profit organization of leading AI scientists for the advancement of artificial intelligence in Europe with a focus on machine learning. CLAIRE (Confederation of Laboratories for Artificial Intelligence Research in Europe) is also a Europe-wide dedicated AI research network that promotes science and innovation in Europe. TU Darmstadt is intensively involved and connected in both outstanding European AI networks.
